Voice Coach • Actress • Certified NLP Trainer
Julia Haythorn’s theatre training and background provide the inspiration for all her work.
After studying English literature at Leeds University she continued her training at East 15 Acting School. Her performing career has taken her all over the UK and the world ranging from open air Shakespeare in Provence to business role plays in St Petersburg.
Always entrepreneurial, Julia has written and performed in her own plays and also set up a number of theatre companies including Gloriana Productions which toured Shakespeare plays nationally.
In addition to her acting experience, Julia works with young people designing and running workshops. For a number of years she ran the education department at the Open Air Theatre in Regent’s Park and delivered Shakespeare workshops to students and teachers. Her work in education and training resulted in her being invited to become a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA).
She has worked extensively in the corporate world, first writing and performing murder mystery and team building events and then specialising in communication skills training for companies throughout Europe. She is a Licentiate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (LGSM) and also a certified trainer of Neuro-Linguistic Progamming (NLP). She uses her theatre and voice training, combined with her knowledge of NLP, to create courses and trainings that are hugely enjoyable, memorable and highly effective.
